Although Mediapart.fr is behind their own goals, I am pretty impressed by their Success. This is a lot of money eacht month. And I am pretty about it also, becaus they run on Open Source, on Drupal, actually.

The Money-Making Problem is the second big problem of Online Journalism next to the CMS-Problem – and I don't have a clue how to solve any of them. But I think, the most probable solution will be one, that affirms the way the web works. Almost every major success on the web, works along the webs inner architecture. So I think both problems may be solved by some kind of decentralized, multi-channel, maybe semi-automatic approach showing up effects of emergence when containg lots of data or users.
